Karo is a brand that is over 100 years old. The brand and the product have not changed much over its long history, until the day ACH engaged the services of YellowDog. We introduced the recipe video element and hosted the videos on YouTube. This was nearly 10 years ago, when most considered YouTube to be something of a toy for those posting their homemade videos. YellowDog saw the incredible opportunities this channel offered (in bandwidth and viewers) and insisted that it would help spread the word and reinvent Karo Syrup, which is exactly what happened. On Thanksgiving Day of its first season in operation, millions located the video for the famous Karo Syrup Pecan Pie and began watching and baking. So many people attempted to view the pecan pie video that YouTube contacted YellowDog (on Thanksgiving Day) and advised us that they were shutting the videos down. The shut down was temporary, as YouTube has all the bandwidth they need, and Karo is doing quite well these days.
